Is Reheating Pizza in Air Fryer Healthy?

Reheating pizza in an air fryer is healthy and will not harm you in any way. And as a bonus, take this from us when we say that reheating pizza in air fryer does not affect the taste negatively. All it takes is doing it the right way.

Reheating pizza in air fryer helps to achieve the following:-

Remove oiliness: Since you will not need to add in any oil when reheating your pizza in the air fryer, you will not have to deal with oily pizza.

Remove sogginess: People have reported to have soggy pizzas when they try to reheat using a normal oven. With an air fryer, you don’t run the risk of having your pizza come out soggy. The crispness is totally preserved.

Reduce Heating Time: This method of warming up leftover pizzas is also quick, not to say incredibly easy. It also works for all kinds of pizza crust, either thin or thick.

How to Reheat Pizza in Air Fryer

In order not to end up with ruined pizza, you’d want to reheat your pizza the right way.

To reheat pizza in your air fryer, note that pizzas with thin bases heat faster than those with thick bases. So you should reheat in batches according to how thick your pizza bases are.

Preheat the air fryer to a temperature of 160°C or 325°F.

Once the preheating is done, load your air fryer basket and place it inside the air fryer.

Set your timer to between three to four minutes.

Ensure that you do not overload the air fryer to avoid having the pizzas stick together. We wouldn’t want that now, would we?

How Long Does it Take to Reheat Pizza in Air Fryer?

The duration of reheating your pizza depends on your pizza base. If you’re reheating pizza with thin base, three to four minutes at medium heat is required. But if you’re reheating pizza with a thick base, take it to five to six minutes at medium heat.

You may want to heat it more after those times or take it out before, either way, it’s really your call.

Finally….

On a final note, the air fryer has proven to not just be good for making a large variety of dishes, it is also an amazing appliance for reheating left-over foods such as pizza and potato chips.

Make your life easier with an air fryer. With it, you just get an all-in-one appliance. Enjoy.
