Big Boss Air Fryer – How it Works?

In this review of the Big Boss Oil-Less Fryer, I want to be as thorough as possible, so next, let’s look at how this unit works and discover why it is such a quick, easy option.

The secret is the combination of halogen heat that makes your chicken, fries, or steaks crispy and brown on the outside. Convection from the fan ensures that the heat is circulated evenly all around the food and infrared technology cooks the food from the inside out so that it is always moist and delicious.

The combination cooking technology lets you cook up to three times faster than a traditional fryer or oven.

All you need to do is set the temperature, set the cooking time, snap the safety handle into place and the unit immediately starts cooking. No long preheating process: it is at the perfect temperature from the moment you snap the safety handle into place and begin cooking.

You can also thaw your food, and dehydrate fruit and vegetables as well, in far less time than you could in a traditional oven.

Other than the bigger size and delicious fried food, there are still some cool characteristic features of that deep fryer to go over. The handy product comes in the category of best air fryers which is under $100. Some of the remarkable features are listed here:-

Advantages of the Big Boss Oil-Less Air Fryer

Since you are only using at most a small mist of oil, or often none at all, you are dramatically reducing the fat, grease, calories, and cholesterol in your favorite foods.

Traditionally cooked fries can be as much as 400 calories per serving but with Big Boss Oil-Less Fryer and a light misting of oil, this drops to only 145 calories. The same is true of fried chicken. Deep-fried chicken has over 500 calories per serving, but using far less oil in the oil-less fryer, the calories halve to just about 240 calories.

When you cook bacon in a frying pan the bacon sits in the fat and grease in the pan. When cooking bacon the healthy way, the fat and grease drip off into the bottom of the glass bowl and you are left with delicious, crunchy bacon without the extra fat and cholesterol.

With an air fryer, you cut back on all of these calories and grease.

Now, we are not saying that oils are all bad for your health. Your body cannot naturally produce the needed oils which are exactly why some oils like fish oil and olive oil are good for you. But consuming too much oil, as in the case of eating fried foods, is quite unhealthy.

When you regularly consume a lot of cooking oil, you can gain weight, become obese, start suffering from cardiovascular disease or high cholesterol, or you can suffer from skin breakouts.

Oil free fryers also offer another huge advantage. They are very easy to use. You can produce tasty meals within minutes. Foods like fries can be crispy, fried, and ready to munch in just 7 minutes or less.

And if you love to munch on dried fruits but can never afford these expensive snacks then you are in for quite a treat since the Big Boss is ideal for making all sorts of dried fruits, such as raisins, dried apples, bananas, strawberries, and pears so you can enjoy healthier snacks more affordably throughout the day.

What You Can Cook in Big Boss Oil-Less Air Fryer

This is a healthy option when it comes to cooking for your family. Less fat, less grease, and consequently fewer calories than using traditional cooking or frying methods. But what can you cook in the oil-less fryer?

As mentioned previously it’s great for French fries, fried chicken, frozen pizza, bacon, and popcorn shrimp but it can do so much more.

Chicken: Teriyaki chicken as an appetizer using chicken wings is a simple and tasty option. Combine soy sauce, honey, garlic powder, ginger and some lemon zest and sesame seeds. Marinade the wings for around twenty minutes and then pop them onto the lower rack and cook for around twenty-five minutes at 375F.

Other chicken based appetizers you could try are popcorn chicken, frozen chicken, or sweet and sour chicken bites.

For an entrée with a gloriously hereby flavor take some boneless chicken breasts, combine your breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, salt, oregano, basil, and garlic powder and coat the chicken. Then mist it with a little olive oil, place the mesh basket over the lower cooking rack and fry for 20 minutes at 400F.

Fish and Seafood: A delicious appetizer is a mushroom stuffed with crab meat that is ready in just ten minutes. Combine crab meat, breadcrumbs, garlic, carrots, parsley, salt, pepper, egg, and butter. Mix well and then stuff the mushrooms.

Put on the higher rack and cook at 450F: beautiful!

Or for a speedy entrée for 4, try Sweet Paprika Butterfly Shrimp. Butterfly the shrimp, and then combine the seasoned fry mix and paprika. Coat the shrimp and place it on the higher rack and cook for 7-8 minutes at 450F.

You can also cook beef, pork, and lamb dishes such as Swedish meatballs, spare ribs, or Italian sausage and stiff fries.

The Big Boss Oil-Less Fryer can also be used to roast and bake chicken or turkey, make kebabs and Italian roasted chicken breast, as well as beef, lamb, pork, and seafood.

Baked foods: This unit is so versatile it will also let you bake cinnamon rolls, donuts, dumplings, pumpkin fritters, onion rings, and many other foods.

Roasted fruits and veggies: If you want to consume more fruits and veggies then this is a terrific appliance to get at home. The Big Boss is ideal for roasting all sorts of fruits and veggies. You can make apple turnovers, roasted pineapples, and bananas or roast all sorts of vegetables such as peppers, butternut squash, beets, potatoes, tomatoes, broccoli, corn, zucchini, squash, brussels sprouts, and a great many other foods.

Meats: The Big Boss is perfect for preparing all meats that you can prepare via oil frying. You can make delicious roasted sausages, bacon, meatballs, thin steaks, poultry drumsticks, sheep or pork ribs, and a huge variety of other meat types. The only thing to keep in mind when you are preparing meat is that fryers are more suitable for thinner meat pieces. Foods like meatloaf might be challenging to fully prepare because the outside can become quite crisp while the center might still be quite raw.

How to Clean Your Big Boss Oil-Less Air Fryer

The dinner party is over, now comes the less exciting part: cleaning up.

With the Big Boss Air Fryer, this is pretty straightforward. If the racks and mesh tray has any food that has become attached, soak them for ten minutes or so in hot water and a mild detergent. That should loosen any food deposits and then you can wash them as normal and dry.

If any food is stuck to the bowl then you can use the self-clean feature. Pour a couple of inches of water into the bowl with a mild detergent and turn the temperature to wash/thaw and set the timer to ten minutes. At the end of the cycle, once the bowl has cooled down sufficiently, pour the water and detergent out and wash and dry as normal.

The bowl and racks are dishwasher safe but it is very important not to get the lid wet as that will cause serious damage. To clean the lid use a damp cloth with a little detergent and carefully clean the glass parts avoiding the electrical areas.

Conclusion

In order to get a very delicious, safe, fast and healthy food cooking experience, a person would be blessed to buy the Big Boss oil-less air fryer. It is also common thinking that people have become more serious about their health. They have begun to think more wisely.

They don’t make a compromise on their health, but the desire to eat crispy foods can never be suppressed. The Big Boss oil-less fryer is a great appliance for your home and kitchen for this very reason!
